Why share these tips?
A friend of mine recently asked me “why are you showing people how to repair their own cars? He wanted to know what was in it for me. I responded by telling him that I truly enjoy working on vehicles and I also love teaching others to do things in a simple straightforward way. I would have loved to be able have someone help me trouble shoot and solve various problems that I came across when repairing my own vehicles and that I became frustrated when trained mechanics at big name dealerships were of no help, even after paying them to repair the problem.
If there is a video showing us how to accomplish the task then there is absolutely no reason not to do the job ourselves. Many of the repairs I do with one hand while holding the camera with the other hand. So yes a even a one handed person can do it. For my viewers, there is no greater satisfaction than fixing they’re own vehicle. For me, there is no greater satisfaction than reading the comments of my viewers on how I saved them hundreds to thousands of dollars by showing them how to do the job themselves.
